Abstract :
A new state-equation of an induction motor is presented. In vector control, high performance is realized by decoupling control. In case of the conventional state-equation, the physical operation of the induction motor is difficult to understand from the decoupled state-equation. This is because, in the conventional state-equation, the dimension or the summing point has no physical meaning. To overcome this problem, a new state-equation of induction motor is proposed. In this equation, all branches of the summing point have voltage dimension, and the equation enables easy understanding of the physical operation of the machine, and it is easy to design the control system for decoupling.
