Abstract :
In this paper, the authors extend the optimal power formulation to model market behavior in the AC network through the computation of Nash and Stakelberg type game equilibrium points based on generator and load benefit and cost functions. One of main objectives of such computation is to identify how transmission access agents can develop market power in electricity networks by taking advantage of the AC network laws and limitations
