  • Abstract
    During the period of Qin Dynasty and Han Dynasty, the ancient Chinese cooking design developed more and more mature, the achievement of living utensils design were so great, that there is no historical time can be compared with. The design of cooking utensils received influence from many factors, such as policy, economy, culture, technology and lifestyle, at the same time, it had its own continuous developing rules and characters. With the development of the society, the exterior form and structure of cooking utensils are constantly improved and perfected. As the implement with function base, the idea of usage-oriented was running through the whole design course of cooking utensils. There are also many excellent theories of design contained in ancient cooking utensils, and they can still play an important role in modern design.
