Abstract
An analysis of microstrip line on ferrimagnetic substrates is presented. Hertz vector potentials, oriented along the ferrite magnetization direction, are used for obtaining the dyadic Green´s function in the Fourier transform domain. The propagation constant and characteristic impedance of the structure are calculated from the expressions obtained used in conjunction with Galerkin´s method. Results for the propagation constant as a function of frequency are shown.
