Abstract :
Described is an airborne microwave radiometer system operated at 37.5 gHz, which permits to obtain vertical cross-section of liquid water zones of clouds. Set of appropriate tomography-reconstruction techniques are examined. The result of flight experiments for verification of microwave tomography method is discussed. Data obtained in field experiment on weather modification are given.
