  • Abstract
For the rapid development of communication technology especially the optic-fiber communication, the capacity of communication channel for protection can be satisfied properly. For this reason, a new differential protection scheme is designed. Compared with the current differential protection, the protection has a better performance on resisting the influence of transient component, a higher reliability and a faster speed. The demand for the synchronism of the current sampling values is comparatively low. It is free from the system oscillation. It can be realized easily, and may be the primary protection of the long transmission lines with ultra-high-voltage
