Abstract :
An X-band model antenna has been presented for the application of receiving TV signals at 12 GHz. The experimental antenna belongs to the family of radial waveguide slot antennas, with radiating elements, cross slots, which are arrayed in sequence along a design four - arm logarithmic spiral. The designed antenna of diameter 0.587 m demonstrates a gain over 38.5 dBi in the 11.7 - 12.5 GHz bandwidth and has an aperture efficiency of 77%.
