Abstract :
This paper presents a necessary and sufficient condition for the quadratic stability of dynamic interval systems. The result is obtained in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) and extended to cover robust stability of linear systems with uncertain parameters. With the powerful LMI toolbox, it is very convenient to solve this problem. The illustrative examples show that this method is effective and less conservative to check the robust stability of interval systems.
