Abstract :
The output of the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Systems (IT2FLS) before defuzzification is an interval that the average of this interval usually is considered as the output. IT2FLS describes the uncertainties of input signals with an interval in the output. Considering the average of this interval as the crisp output wastes the description of uncertainties. For better performance the crisp output of the interval should be selected purposive. In this paper an anti-noise defuzzifier is presented. This improved defuzzifier generates soft outputs for noisy input signals. The PH neutralization process has measurement noise so it is used as the case study.
