Abstract :
The authors present a mathematical model for investigating vibration effects on reciprocal fiber-optic polarimetric current sensor. The model will aid in designing a configuration with immunity to environmental (acoustic) perturbations. The perturbations affect birefringence properties of single-mode sensing fiber and cause current measurement error.
