  • Abstract
The idea of improvement microwave monitoring of moisture content in grain by use of simultaneous measurement of two microwave parameters: attenuation and phase shift is being worked on for many years. The main advantage of it is serious limitation of influence of grain´s bulk density variations, which have been recognized as a major factor, disturbing the accuracy of moisture content measurements by dielectris methods. Reported experimental results consider more then halt a thousand of samples, taken directly from harvest delivery, what means full reliability of tested material. The paper proves better accuracy of moisture monitoring in grain with two-parameters microwave method in comparison with single parameter one. The analytical dependences together with values of standard deviation are given for both methods for comparison aim.
