Abstract :
The dispersion relations for the 2D and 3D symmetrical condensed node (SCN) TLM with the state-variable and stub-loaded model of the medium are obtained. It is observed that the approximate trapezoidal discretization scheme of the state-variable approach has the same dispersion as the stub-loaded model. Plots of the dispersion relation along axial and diagonal directions are shown and discussed.
