Abstract :
This paper further researches the affect of actual channel switching delay and short frame on the throughput performance of CCF, and proposes a new method to improve CCF. We discuss two situations that a period without short frame and a period with a short frame, and investigate the affect of short frame sequence of appearance on the CCF performance. To avoid the affect of actual channel switching delay on short frame transmission, an improved approach is presented by assigning common channel to transmit short frame. The simulation demonstrate that the longer channel switching delay, the more channels needed for state transfer, even doubled data rate could not reduce the number of the channels needed. The simulation also prove that the method of assigning common channel to transmit short frames could effectively decrease the number of channels needed for state transfer and improve the CCF throughput.
