Abstract :
A research project looking at risk management for PPP projects in China is currently being conducted. The aim of this research is to develop and validate an equitable risk sharing mechanism for PPP participants in Chinese specific circumstance. As part of this research project an empirical questionnaire survey was conducted. Respondents of questionnaire were invited to rate a total of thirty-four risk factors which was gleaned from the literature. The data of this survey were analyzed by Kendall´s concordance test, Spearman rank correlation test and independent 2-sample test technique. The results show that there is no significant disagreement between government and private sector with respect to the perception of risk factors.
