Abstract :
In this paper, a cavity stabilized FET harmonic-mode oscillator is investigated. The cavity used is a reaction type cavity which is inserted in the fundamental or in the harmonic circuit. Comparison between these two cases is made by the calculation of PM and AM noise spectra for different values of the loaded quality factor.
