Abstract :
In our latest work, we developed a data fusion algorithm which can be applied on fusion centers of a cluster-based wireless sensor network (WSN). The data fusion algorithm is a mathematical model based on fuzzy logic theory. In fuzzy logic, a collection of objects is processed using fuzzy sets to obtain a value, which summarizes the collection. In this paper, we examine the effects of imprecise WSN observations and different fuzzy sets on the proposed data fusion algorithm. Our results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively fuse data in WSN.
