Abstract :
MESFET oscillators with dielectric resonators in the shunt feedback exhibit excellent performance, but their design is usually based on empirical methods or on computer optimization. In this paper a systematic approach, which allows direct determination of all circuit embedding elements for prescribed value of the load conductance and the resonator coupling coefficient, is described. Experimental results which verify the design technique are also presented.
