Abstract :
This article demonstrates an algorithm for the reduction of cloud data achieved by photogrammetry. The algorithm computes curvature of discreet surface with difference template. Point data is filtered with non-uniform grids. The algorithm is clear and direct for computing and programming. Tests prove that high ratio of compression and good result which can be applied in 3d reconstruction of curves and surfaces.
