Study on the Information Integration of the Product-Family-Oriented Supply Chain Planning Based on Generic Bills of Materials

For configuring reasonably the resources in the product-family-oriented supply chain and adjusting speedily the supply chain planning, the Generic-Bills-of-Materials-based information integration was researched. First, with the Generic bills of materials (GBOM) as the uniform framework, the concept of Generic task point (GTP) was presented. In terms of the product description information, organize information and technique process information, the GTP was analyzed how to describe the product-family-oriented supply chain planning information of a certain node in GBOM. Then, the instantiation process of the GTP was discussed. The characteristics of the information integration system of the product-family-oriented supply chain based on the GBOM (IISPFSCGBOM) were analyzed. Furthermore, the architecture of the IISPFSC was presented and discussed.
