Abstract :
The authors present the dynamics of a single LCS written in our VCSEL by considering transverse field averages over approximately 15μm. The optical and RF spectrum is calculated by taking the Fourier transform of the field and intensity respectively. The paper shows the oscillating intensity of a LCS as a function of time and the optical spectra for two cases with external cavity round trip times of 0.41ns and 1.1ns respectively.
