Abstract
The effect of mitering on coplanar waveguide (CPW) discontinuities is studied using a full wave space domain integral equation method which is discussed briefly. Preliminary results for a mitered CPW open-end are presented. The discretization mechanism used in the method of moments and its effect on the convergence is also outlined and a sample convergence plot is included. In addition, results are presented which show the effect of miteriing-on the reflection coefficient angle of a CPW open-end discontinuity. The effect of mitering on other discontinuities, such as the CPW step discontinuity, will also be presented in the conference.
