Abstract
In this paper,a method based on an adaptive sliding mode variable structure observer is presented for synchronization and control of a class of hyper-chaotic systems with multivariable transmission. It is not only more robust to noise and parameter mismatch in the error dynamics, but also does not need the upperbounds of the uncertainties in advance or the inertial filter. Theoretical analysis and simulation results proved the effectiveness of the method.
