Abstract :
The authors provide a macrolevel overview of the ongoing migration pattern in an imbedded corporate communication network. This pattern is at the physical communication media level, the logical topological level and the integrated network management level. The authors attempt to develop a correlation among these three migration processes, and suggest that the use of this correlation will justify the cost, improve the performance, and alleviate network maintenance issues that are critical to the corporate business infrastructure
