Abstract :
A novel method of calculating total current for a chip level circuit is proposed. A charging current model is implemented in a timing simulator RSIM-FX having a mixed mode for switch level and functional level. The calculation of total dynamic current of TRC (510 kTr) is shown, and simulation results are demonstrated to agree well with measurements
