Abstract :
Aiming at the shortcomings that are low speed, low precision and bad stability for tension control system implemented by PLC, T400 technology module designed for high precision tension control, SIMOVERT Master Drives of vector control frequency converter and S7-400 of Siemens PLC are used to implement constant tension control of coiler in cold rolling cleaning. Configuration software WinCC is used to develop friendly man-machine interface. High-level computer, PLC and field devices such as frequency converter are connected with each other by Profibus-DP bus to implement reliable data communication. It has proven that the system attains high dynamic control effect in practice.
