Abstract :
Information in construction engineering projects has always been scattered in every independent phase and used very inefficiently. In order to improve the project management performance, this paper presents an integrated information management model for construction engineering lifecycle to manage construction project through the lifecycle. In this model the information in the construction engineering project is acquired and shared in database where Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) is adopted to a standard information communication as a DB converter in it. The lifecycle construction information model is testified to eliminate information loss in construction engineering projects effectively.
