Abstract
In this paper, we present the fluorescence properties of thick shells CdSe/CdS QDs at 4K. Using a standard confocal microscope and a photon counting setup, we developed an original method to obtain the full time statistics of the photons emitted by an individual QD. Our data provides the histogram of the delays between photons, the fluorescence lifetime and the fluorescence intensity fluctuations with time. Our results demonstrate that the fluorescence properties of CdSe/CdS QDs are drastically changed at cryogenic temperature.
