Abstract :
A DC/DC converter is the source of radio frequency noise. Emission reduction by switching frequency shifts is proposed. Frequency shifts up to 30% can give more than 20 dB noise reduction in theory. Frequency shifts 40-70% are less effective due to higher harmonics composition. Experiments show 10 dB noise reduction for 20% frequency shifts.
