Abstract :
Based on the coating craft of paper machine, air knife coater and gate roll coater are mostly studied as plants. According to the analysis of tension transmission and coupling to the air knife coater, the control system of knife coater with touch Pad, PLC, converter and high speed field-bus is realized collaborated with its control requirements. Here the frequency-variable drive control mode with common DC bus is proposed to achieve high performance. Practices prove that the control system can work well and meet the users´ requirements.
