Abstract :
This work is to primarily investigate the cooperative control by virtue of physical network connectivity in self-organizing microgrids. The purpose of cooperative control is to maintain a group of generators operating at the identical ratio in terms of their available power, namely Fair Utilization. In general, the states of the art rely on the additional fragile and logy communication link to interact the states of interest among agents. Recent research enlightens us that for certain systems, such as power system, the physical network connectivity is beneficial to achieve the cooperative behaviors. To this end, the cooperative control based upon the physical network connectivity is proposed. The stability analysis is conducted via classical Lyapunov theory and asymptotical convergence is proved by using LaSalle´s Invariance Principle. In order for the further validation, the proposed cooperative control is applied in IEEE 5-bus system and simulations are elaborated to validate the effectiveness.
