Abstract :
According to the research and analysis on EMR hazards to EED, a new test method was brought forward in this paper, which is colorimetry method measured temperature with infrared optic fiber. The system includes infrared optical fiber that eliminates interference from external electromagnetic radiation, a lens assembly that optimally focuses the infrared energy from the bridgewire to the infrared fiber and no-touch the bridgewire, two infrared detectors that measure the middle and near infrared radiation from bridgewire respectively, a photomodulator and phase-locked amplifiers that depress the noises. Using the equivalence of heated EED bridgewire by radio-frequency current and DC current, a ways and means to quantitatively assess the safety and reliability of EED in the electromagnetic field are established through the calibration of sensors.
