Abstract :
The authors studied the effects of nanofiller size on the refractive index and optical transparency of nanoparticle polymer nanocomposite. The size of nanofillers has been considered from 3 up to 30 nm. In a precise calculation of absorption and scattering of polymer matrix, the modified size dependent refractive index is used. In addition, this quantity obtained with considering size dependent surface effects.
