Abstract :
An advanced numerical algorithm for transient analysis of grounding systems based on moments method in frequency domain is presented. Electrical symmetries of the structure are considered in order to reduce the computational effort. The algorithm implementation is organized to exploit the architectural features of vector and parallel computational environments. The computer performances obtained by running some large size examples are illustrated
