Abstract
Knowledge management is not an academic topic any more, it is a corporate necessity in many areas, especially the information system development and workflow management. The concentrates on the knowledge modeling, which has a significant role in the evolution of workflow systems. This paper gives an overview about some knowledge modeling techniques, which are relevant in the workflow management. Correlation between the types of knowledge modeling and the phases of workflow system development method, IPSD (interactive process-oriented system development) is discussed.
