Abstract :
This paper presents the characteristics of a speed-sensorless vector control of two induction motors connected in parallel and fed by a single inverter with fuzzy speed controller. Speeds of parallel connected induction motor drives are estimated by natural observer. The speed difference between two induction motors and the torque ripple are reduced under unbalanced load conditions when fuzzy speed controllers are used. Simulation results are presented and are compared with the existing well known PI controller. Fuzzy speed controller shows a good dynamic performance under unbalanced load conditions.
