Abstract :
A new discrete system model is constructed for wireless networked control system (WNCS) based on IEEE 802.11 protocols. Both control and communication performances are considered using TRA (transmission rate adaptation) and SRA (sample rate adaptation) technology. These methods will avoid the congestion and improve the real-time characteristic to a certain degree. Further we design the guaranteed cost controller and the control gain can be obtained easily by solving LMI with the use of Matlab toolbox. The obtained condition can also be used to optimize the cost function. Finally, simulation is done to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
