Abstract

Data in Your Space (DAYS) is an information dissemination system, which aims to provide desired information to use users through wireless channels. DAYS pushes data and control information to wireless channels and users tune correct channel from anywhere in the world to retrieve information. Unlike Web-based systems, it does not require any logon or system setup steps to access the information. In this working paper we present our mapping scheme and discuss a number of approaches for defining indexing necessary for information dissemination and retrieval.
