Research on a class of shape-preserving quasi-interpolation functions

This paper discusses the essential relation between the basis function of shape-preserving quasi-interpolation function and the quadratic B-spline basis function, constructs a class of new shape-preserving quasi-interpolation functions, and provides the conditions this class of functions satisfy when they hold the property of linear reproduction, the monotonicity and the convexity of original data, respectively.
