Abstract :
Urban water consumption has some characteristics of grey because it is influenced by economy, population, standard of living and so on. Based on grey system theory and the new information principle, multi-variable grey optimal model NMGM (1, n, q, r) was introduced. The parameter q and r of NMGM (1, n, q, r) model was optimized with Matlab software. The model was validated by examining the urban water consumption. The result indicated that the new information multi-variable grey optimization model NMGM (1, n, q, r) is simple and practical, and has a generalizing value in data process.
