Abstract :
A new parallel approach, block BEM-GNF (generalized network formulation), is presented. This method is proposed for the exact numerical analysis of the larger scale 3-D electromagnetic field problems of arbitrary shape. This is a structured formulation. Thus it can be extended to a parallel computation. The author presents theoretical results of the new method, deriving the general magnetic field integral equations, and discusses the numerical aspects of their implementation. He gives some representative 3-D numerical results of some two-port waveguide problems to show the application of the proposed method to 3-D conducting waveguide transitions of arbitrary shapes
