Abstract :
Optical nanoantennas are a novel tool to investigate previously unattainable dimensions in the nanocosmos. At these scales, single nanoobjects with a size of a few nanometers show exceptional optical properties differing from bulk behavior. Nonlinear spectroscopy investigates the deviations from linear light-matter interaction. The weak nonlinear response is reduced further when single nanoobjects such as quantum dots, molecules, or nanoparticles are investigated.
