Abstract :
An analysis on the behaviour of ultrasonic wavefront in multi-phase Iiquids, for ultrasonic transit time flowmeters, has been made. The effects of particles and air bubbles in flowing liquid are shown have significant effects by introducing time delays. Particular emphasis are given to distortions, attenuations and scattering of the wavefront
