Abstract :
A code acquisition scheme with adaptive antenna array based on the spatial-temporal correlator is proposed to address PN code acquisition in the presence of carrier frequency offset and jamming. The total observation interval is partitioned into subintervals. In each subinterval spatial-temporal correlation and adaptive beamforming is used. The proposed scheme can effectively reduce the performance loss of frequency offset. The detection probability and false alarm probability is theoretically analyzed under AWGN and Rayleigh fading environment. Simulation results are presented to verify the performance analysis. The theoretical analysis can be used to obtain the optimum number of subintervals in the presence of carrier frequency offset.
