Abstract :
A detecting algorithm of the pulse waveform of radial artery based on continuous wavelet transform (CWT) is proposed in this paper. At present, the hemodynamic parameters can be detected widely by using the instrument based on the pulse wave of radial artery. But operators are demanded to have certain medical knowledge to artificially detect a waveform used to compute hemodynamic parameters, thus limiting its application. As a result, we propose a new algorithm, making use of wavelet analysis, to detect pulse waveform of radial artery. Experiment results show that this algorithm has good accuracy, can improve the intelligence of hemodynamic parameters detecting instrument, and can simplify operation, which benefits popularization of hemodynamic parameters detection in family health care.
