Abstract :
The future competition of economy and politics lies in the competition of standards. Standard competition takes various forms. A dynamic process model of standard competition based on the standard lifecycle theory is proposed and analyzed. And Porter´s famous diamond model as a macroanalysis tool is combined with the proposed micro model to analyze the competition power of ICT (Information & Communication Technology) standard in China. Competition strategies for both government and domestic enterprises are also presented.
