Abstract :
Water resources planning of river basin was a half-structural or non-structural problem and the application of artificial intelligence technology could make the water resources planning more scientific and more accurate. The common artificial intelligence technologies were introduced in detail, which included expert system, decision support system and intelligent optimization algorithm. These technologies were novel measures, which would play more function in water resources planning. When the application of artificial intelligence technology was introduced in water resource management, the water resource could be distributed scientifically and developed reasonably. Accordingly, the conflict of supply and demand for water resource would be relieved in a certain extent and the local economic efficiency would be improved greatly.
