Abstract :
In this paper chiral slab waveguides are explored and their chracteristical features are described. The theoretical analysis is based on plane wave expansions for the fields in different regions of the slab and their continuity requirements at the slab interfaces. The theory is illustrated by dispersion curves of the propagating modes and field distributions in the inner and outer regions of the guide.
