  • Abstract
    This paper presents three coupling models for analysing the dynamical behaviour of a coupled electro-magneto-mechanical system. The first is based on the parametrization of the system by the finite element method. The second realizes the coupling by solving alternately the electromagnetic equations to get the force and mechanical equations to derive the motion. The third solves simultaneously the electric circuit, magnetic field and mechanical motion equations. A comparison of the three models is given through the modelling of an electromagnetic actuator
