Abstract :
An inverter representation for evanescent mode waveguide sections is derived. In combination with dielectric loaded waveguide sections above cutoff usual filter design formulas can be applied. The design considers resonator detuning by incorporating negative line segments in the inverter. External coupling of waveguide and coaxial line is achieved by means of monopoles exciting TM-Modes.
