Abstract
To purify axis trace of turbine generator units, a novel approach was proposed based on the generalized morphological filter cascaded by different structure elements. Due to statistic bias of morphological filter, the output of open-closing filter is relatively small, but that of close-opening filter is contrary. Therefore, adaptive approach was employed to modify weights to realize the combined morphological filter. The ability of adaptive generalized morphological filter deals with different types of noise was discussed. Simulation and practical example show that adaptive generalized morphological filter has better performance compared with single morphological filter. The adaptive generalized morphological filter has good filtering effectiveness, simple algorithm and high calculating speed; it also has good on-site application value.
